the Whites | North Atlanta Greenhouse Maternity Session
Maternity and greenery just go together, dontcha think? Both sprout life. When Nikki and her husband found me, she mentioned seeing previous photos I shot at - one of my favorite locations. Here! It feels so dreamy inside and out. These photos came to be exactly how I imagined because really, how could they not. Any time of day and any season of the year this is a lush and bright spot to be. It feels like a fairy forest. The first time I shot here was in Fall, then in early Spring, and this was summer. I can’t wait to shoot here again in midwinter; even if it rains or gets cold, it’s an easy way to be socially distant indoors.
I thought white was an authentic color for them to choose. Besides it being the ‘pure and innocent’ color which I believe goes with having a child, the style of how they matched was classic and simple. Wearing white in summer just feels airy and cool anyway. Besides, it’s their last name if you didn’t notice so it was meant to be.
There’s ALWAYS an occasion for dresses with pockets.
Nikki ditched the heels once we went outside of the greenhouse. Seeing her getting grounded in the tall grass made me want to ditch mine too. Despite it being a warm summer afternoon in the South, these two kept smiles on their faces. We chatted and envisioned their future newborn session.
I can’t wait to see this sweet couple and babe again soon.
