Kacie + Michael | Frisco Falling Snow Winter Elopement
These two started out the elopement with such a simple yet special idea to incorporate their people - reading notes and cards from loved ones. The snow was falling as Kacie, Michael, and I trekked our boots through the trail. We stopped and let the cold flakes slowly hit our faces in the quiet. They pulled out a binder with a pile of papers and read silently together.
Some were short and sweet, some were inspiring, and maybe an obnoxious one from grandma about make-up sex that we couldn’t hold in our laughter over, HA.
They read their vows as the snow kept falling then exchanged rings and signed the marriage license quickly before getting it too wet.
The light would change depending on visibility so we were able to get a little more of the moody shots depending on the angles. It was completely peaceful anywhere you’d look. When we finished we didn’t want to leave…except I did want to grab some hot chocolate and put fuzzy slippers on. And on that note - if anyone wants to do a shoot with snow, fuzzy slippers, OR both..come find me!
