Kelly + Michael | Red Rocks and Mnt. Falcon Engagement
These two stood out real quick to me for three good reasons. One: they wanted their photos with Red Rocks Amphitheater in the background. Just the coolest music venue in Colorado, no big deal. Two: They looked up photos of this trail beforehand to see what they were dealing with. Very smart on their end. Three: Her poppin’ bubblegum pink dress. Need I say more.
The great thing about the timing of our shoot was that we had bright wildflowers. The sky also was clear enough from the forest fire smoke that you could see the skyline of Denver from some angles.
When it changes from golden hour to blue hour, yessss. I love that the car lights from Red Rocks in the distance add a little twinkle to this.
Little photobomber towards the end of our shoot! Such a peaceful way to close out our evening. It was so quiet with not many hikers around. We just watched this guy frolic along. I’m so glad Kelly and Michael decided on an engagement shoot even though their elopement wasn’t far away. It’s always nice getting to know couples before their big day!
