Emmy + Kasey | Morning on Arabia Mountain
First blog post of 2022, whatss upppp! I have a ton of special goodies to get out in the world soon and I can’t wait to share. Here is something I’ve been sitting on since 2019, I believe?! You’ve seen Emmy and Kasey on my feed before ~here~ when we did our sprinkler shoot over the COVID summer of 2020. I mentioned there that I was still wanting to blog this one and I FINALLY AM. This one is less socially distant because YES there was a time before the pandemic. Can you even imagine? And it is at one of my favorite locations near-ish to the town of Covington I grew up in. Arabia Mountain has definitely changed over the years and has gotten more lots more traffic these days.
This day, however, felt peaceful.
Both of their smiles are so contagious.
If you’ve been to Arabia, you know about these pillars throughout the mountain. They are hiker markers that follow the trail to the parking lots. I really wanted some shots of sitting on them with the sun in frame. The sun hit just right, I did a little squeal.
So many for this set but I can’t choose my faves!
E + K are engaged now, congrats! I remember when Emmy said at the very beginning that Kasey was the one for her. I hope to see y’alls cheery faces again soon.
